The Bible doesn't have just one author, but instead many people. In just the new testament there's 5 people who were close followers of Jesus that wrote stories about his life of teaching, they were Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. These men wrote stories about all of Jesus's teachings and his thoughts on life. Jesus was the child of a very holy woman named Mary and a carpenter named Joseph. At just the age of 5 he was always found in the temples listening to the teachings. Once he got older he himself began to teach the "Word of God." Jesus was the one who cleansed us of our original sin given to us from adam and eve. Adam and Eve were the first humans who got tempted by the devil and disobeyed gods orders to not eat off the tree of knowledge so God kicked them out of heaven and now we all have the original sin from that.
